Fiber Optic Splicing

We splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cable for buildings, campuses, and network backbones, including fusion splicing, patch panel termination, fault repair, and OTDR testing with documented results.

Every splice is a point where signal can be lost, so we fusion-splice and terminate fiber to keep loss low, then test each link with an OTDR and an optical power meter before handover. You get test results for every fiber, which makes any future fault much faster to find.

What's included

  • Fusion splicing for single-mode and multimode fiber
  • Termination in patch panels, ODFs, and splice closures
  • Fiber cut and fault repair
  • OTDR and optical power testing
  • Test reports and fiber route documentation
  • Building, campus, and backbone links

Delivered in Jeddah and across Saudi Arabia, supporting Vision 2030 with reliable, scalable execution.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between fusion and mechanical splicing?+

Fusion splicing welds the two fiber ends together with an electric arc, giving the lowest loss and the most durable joint, so it's what we use for permanent links. Mechanical splicing aligns the fibers inside a small connector without welding. It's quicker for temporary or emergency repairs, but the loss is higher.

Can you repair a cut or damaged fiber cable?+

Yes. We locate the fault with an OTDR, which shows how far along the cable the break is, splice in the repair, and re-test the link before closing the job.

Do you provide test results after splicing?+

Yes. Each link is tested with an OTDR and an optical power meter, and you receive the results for your records. They also serve as a baseline if the link ever develops a problem later.
